Thunder Bay

In Thunder Bay, Frontier College runs programs for children and youth in a wide variety of locations. Programs include after-school, story time, and craft programs, along with reading tents.

Regionally, the Thunder Bay office manages and supports the Lieutenant Governor’s Indigenous Summer Reading Camp program in partnership with over 25 remote First Nations in Northwestern Ontario. The Community Literacy Catalyst Program provides year round learning supports to Indigenous Learners in three fly-in First Nations in Northwestern Ontario.

Austin has been involved with Frontier College Thunder Bay for several years now. In just this past year alone he has been a Lieutenant Governor's Indigenous Summer Reading Camp Counsellor, a Program Volunteer and a Project Intern developing our Number Ninja program.
